| "ART CLASSES" **All classes and workshops will be held at the Deer Park Community Center** 41 Homer Ave. Deer Park, NY 11729 EXPLORE YOUR CREATIVITY WITH ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MEDIUMS: DRAWING • PAINTING • SCULPTURE • MIXED MEDIA & MORE! ******************************************************************************************************************************* Dates for Art Escape: Tuesday Evening Classes 6-7:30 * $100 for each six week session Fall Session: Nov. 9, 16, 30, Dec. 7, 14 Winter Session: Jan. 11,18,25, Feb. 1,8,15 Spring Session: March 1,8,15,22,29, April. 5 Art Escape * Grades 3-5 Students will explore different mediums while developing their own personal artistic expression on canvas, wood, glass, fabric, paper and jewelry. Emphasis on proper technique while drawing and painting. Each session will work on different projects and different mediums as to not repeat the same projects with students who wish to join multiple sessions. ****************************************************************************************************************************** Dates for Advanced Art Class WEDNESDAY EVENINGS 6-7:30pm * $125 for each six week session Fall Session: Oct. 13, 20, 27, Nov. 3, 10, 17 Winter Session: Jan. 12,19,26, Feb. 2,9,16 Spring Session: March 2,9,16,23,30, April 6 Advanced Art Class * Grades 6-8 Strong emphasis on drawing and painting techniques, balanced compositions, adding necessary details, etc... Advanced sculpture techniques will also be part of the class. We will work from famous artist references and our natural world. Projects will include canvas painting, 3-D sculpture, glass art, eco-friendly art, and much more! Each session will work on different projects and different mediums as to not repeat the same projects with students who wish to join multiple sessions. ******************************************************************************************************************************* Important Information: Pay as you go option available... $20 per class Classes are limited: 12-15 students per class and based on a first come first serve. Once registered for an art class- No refunds will be given unless class is canceled. Please remember to dress your child in “art clothes” - clothes that can get messy!
